One of us makes colour-coded spreadsheets. The other wears all the colours!

Kelly Bettridge and Sarah Gurrin are AuADHD practitioners and teachers on a mission to shake up the therapy world -joyfully and unapologetically. Together, they support neurodivergent individuals of all ages using interest-based, non-traditional approaches like LEGO to ensure that therapy is inclusive and equitible. Passionate about rejecting deficit-based models, they bring humour, heart, and creativity into their work. Their practice centres connection, co-regulation, and curiosity because therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and wonderfully neurodivergent.
Sarah Gurrin is an Educational & Developmental Psychologist, registered teacher, and Lego enthusiast. She’s also an AuADHDer with a brilliant brain for big ideas and the calm, grounded vibe that balances out Kelly’s chaos. Sarah is a seasoned expert in child development, inclusive education, and strength-based support. She’s been a keynote speaker at national conferences, a researcher, and a fierce advocate for neurodivergent children - and she does it all with compassion, clarity, and just the right amount of sass. Also: her schnauzer Hamilton wears bowties.
Often seen with her Housewolf Odin, Kelly Bettridge is a 2e AuADHD Psychotherapist, Teacher, and Educational Therapist known for deep neurodivergent insight, fierce empathy, and a playful, creative spirit. Kelly never really grew up - and she’s not sorry; this powers her therapeutic programs, national educator training, and her deep, authentic connection with neurodivergent young folk. At NeuroKind Insights, when Sarah brings the calm, Kelly brings the glimmery chaos (and cheese stringers). A lifelong gamer, LEGO/Pokémon tragic, and book collecting mischief-maker, Kelly helps ND kids and teens feel truly seen, safe, and empowered to take on the world, on their terms.

Pack Leaders

Odin

I’m Odin, Kelly's loyal Housewolf, and self-appointed head of household security and snacks. I take my duties very seriously: shoes must be regularly relocated (for enrichment, obviously), and I ensure all bedroom doors are tested for durability at approximately 2:03am. Who needs sleep when you could be playing fetch in the dark?
As your dedicated ear-alarm system, I’m on high alert at all times. A leaf blew past the window? ALERT. Someone sneezed three houses away? DOUBLE ALERT. Zoomies? Not restricted to any particular time of day. Neither are full-speed, body slam–style hugs. It’s called affection, look it up. While I’m a proud carnivore, I dabble in the finer things—like the occasional pistachio, a shared Maccas soft serve, and that one regrettable time I tried a Brussels sprout (never again).

Hamilton

I’m Hamilton, Sarah's miniature schnauzer, resident gentleman, and the true brains behind the operation. While the humans rush about with therapy kits and laptops, I supervise with quiet dignity (and the occasional strategic sigh). I travel in style, nap with flair, and offer firm but fair judgment on all snack choices—unlike the peasants, (looking at you, Odin), I actually eat my vegetables. My bow ties and accompanied wardrobe are not just fashion - they are a lifestyle. I am polite, punctual, and will politely remind you it’s dinner time with a well-timed stare. Boxes? Love them. Puzzles? Enjoyable, but honestly, none have proven worthy of my intellect. Agility? I dabble. I’ll complete the course, gracefully, of course, but let’s not pretend I’m about to sprint and get dirt in my beard. That would be undignified.

The Beginning

Here is the space where we were supposed to write our origin story... the birth of NeuroKind Insights. The problem is, we are both AuADHD and neither of us can remember. Either way, we are glad you found us and we are excited to be here.
